How to change your Calendar View in Google Calendar

Need a different perspective on your schedule? Google Calendar makes it easy to switch views so you can focus on just today, your whole week, or even the entire month ahead.

On Desktop:

  1. Go to Google Calendar.

  2. In the top right-hand corner, choose your preferred view:

    • Day – see events for one day

    • Week – view your full week at a glance

    • Month – see all events for the month

    • Year – get a big-picture look

    • Schedule (or Agenda) – see a list of upcoming events in chronological order

On Mobile:

  1. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top left corner.

  2. Select your preferred view from the list.

More customisation Options:

  • Hide or display weekends - great if your weekends are always free (or always busy).

  • Set a custom view - for example, display 4 days instead of the full week.
